About Stoneeterra

A Boutique Firm With Deep Roots in the Nakuru Market

Stoneeterra was founded to bring discipline, documentation, and genuine market knowledge to a property sector that has too often rewarded speed over substance.

What Stoneeterra Does — and Who It Serves

Stoneeterra is a boutique real estate firm headquartered in Nakuru, Kenya's fourth largest city and the administrative capital of Nakuru County. We provide four core services — residential and commercial sales, rental facilitation, independent property valuation, and investment consulting — to a client base that includes private homebuyers, landlords, commercial investors, estate lawyers, and financial institutions. Our geographic focus is Nakuru County in its entirety: the town centre and established neighbourhoods such as Milimani and Section 58, the peri-urban growth corridors along the Nakuru-Nairobi and Nakuru-Eldoret highways, the Naivasha sub-county with its horticultural and logistics-driven demand, and rural and agricultural parcels across Gilgil, Subukia, and Molo. We work with clients who are resident in Kenya and with the diaspora community, who frequently need a Nakuru-based firm they can trust to act with full rigour in their absence. What we do not do is operate outside Nakuru County: we have no presence in Nairobi, Mombasa, or Kisumu, and we do not accept mandates in those markets. Referring a client to the wrong firm is never in anyone's interest.

How the Team Works — Process, Values, and Honest Limits

Stoneeterra was established in 2016 by a team of property professionals who had observed, at close range, how informal practice in the Kenyan property market creates unnecessary risk for both buyers and sellers — undocumented transfers, inflated valuations prepared to please rather than to inform, and tenancy arrangements that collapse at the first dispute. Our response was to build a firm organised around written records, qualified assessors, and direct consultant access at every stage. Today, our team of nine covers sales, rentals, valuation, and client services. Every sales consultant holds a current estate agency licence issued by the Estate Agents Registration Board of Kenya. Every valuation is conducted following a physical site inspection — we do not issue desktop-only reports for mortgage or probate purposes. We have completed more than 340 property transactions and 190 formal valuation reports since founding. Our slate-professional working environment reflects the way we approach client relationships: measured, evidence-based, and free from the pressure to close at any cost. The limits of our service are deliberate: we are not a property management company, we do not guarantee sale timelines, and property values can fall as well as rise — a fact we communicate plainly to every client before any engagement begins.

“We engaged Stoneeterra for a feasibility study on a plot in Naivasha before committing development capital. Their written analysis was detailed, clearly reasoned, and identified two planning constraints we had missed. It saved us from a significant misjudgement. That report cost a fraction of what the mistake would have.”
